Privacy Policy

Repair Queue is operated by Repair Tune LLC, an Ohio limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what your rights are. It covers account holders and their staff, visitors to repairqueue.co, and — with a special role explained below — the customers of the shops that use Repair Queue.

Account data — your name, email address, hashed password (we can never read the original), role, avatar if you add one, and your acceptance of our terms.

Shop data — your business profile (name, address, phone, contact email, logo, timezone, tax rate), locations, and plan.

Records your shop keeps — tickets and jobs, devices and their identifiers (serial numbers, IMEI) along with any unlock passcode your shop records for a repair, customer names and contact details, quotes, invoices, payment records (amounts and methods — never card numbers), inventory, suppliers, appointments, and feedback. These are entered by your shop or submitted by your customers through your public booking and tracking pages.

Staff records — the accounts, roles, schedules, time-clock entries, and (if you enter them) pay-rate figures your shop keeps about its team.

Billing — your subscription is processed by Stripe. We store Stripe's identifiers and your subscription status; your card details live with Stripe, not on our servers.

Technical data — server logs (IP address, browser type, request paths, timestamps) kept short-term for security and debugging, and the essential cookies described below.

Support — emails you send to support@repairqueue.co, and messages you send from the Help and support button in the app, which we keep with your name, email address, role, shop, and the page you were on so we can answer you. Questions you type into the in-app help assistant are sent to Anthropic to generate an answer, and are not stored by Repair Queue unless you send them to a person. If you report an accessibility problem, you may tell us about a disability or the assistive technology you use. We use that only to look into and answer your report, and to keep a record of how we handled it.

We use this information to run the service: authenticate you, show your shop its own data, send transactional email (sign-up confirmation, password resets, staff invitations — and — enabled by default, with an off switch in Settings — check-in and ready-for-pickup notes to your customers on your behalf), bill subscriptions, provide support, and keep the platform secure.

What we don't do: we don't sell or rent anyone's data, we don't run ads, we don't use third-party analytics or tracking, and we don't use your data to train AI models.

Repair Queue sets essential cookies only: sign-in session cookies and a cookie remembering which of your locations you're viewing. Interface preferences such as your theme are kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies exist here, which is why there is no cookie banner.

Only the service providers that run the platform, each bound to use the data solely to provide their service to us:

• Vercel — application hosting;
• our managed PostgreSQL database hosting — where the application data lives;
• Stripe — subscription payments;
• Resend — email delivery;
• Anthropic — answers to the questions you type into the in-app help assistant;
• Hostinger and Google — the domain, and the support mailbox whose messages are handled through both providers' mail services.

Beyond that, we disclose data only when the law requires it, to protect the safety and security of the service, or — with notice — as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business.

When a shop records its customer's name or phone number, or a customer books an appointment through a shop's public link, Repair Queue processes that information on the shop's behalf and on its instructions, as a service provider. The shop decides what is collected and how it is used. If you are a shop's customer and want your information corrected or deleted, contact the shop — and if you contact us instead, we will point the request to them and assist.

Some repair-tracking and estimate pages have a Listen button that reads a short summary aloud using your device's built-in voice. Repair Queue doesn't receive or store anything when you use it. Some browsers use an online voice service to speak text; if yours does, that service's own privacy terms apply.

Shop and account data is kept while the account exists and deleted within 60 days of account closure, except what we must keep for legal, billing-dispute, or security reasons. Security tokens expire quickly by design (password-reset links in one hour, confirmation links in a day). Technical logs are short-term and rolling.

Connections are encrypted in transit, passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes, every shop's data is isolated per organization at the query layer, and access to production systems is limited. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you without undue delay, as applicable law requires.

You can see and correct most of your data directly in the app. For anything else — access, correction, deletion, or a portable export — email support@repairqueue.co from your account address; we respond to verified requests within 30 days and never discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Depending on where you live, state privacy laws (for example in California, Colorado, Connecticut, or Virginia) may give you additional specific rights; the mechanism is the same email.

Repair Queue is a business tool for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and accounts are limited to users 18 and older.

Repair Queue is operated from the United States and data is stored on servers in the United States. If you use the service from elsewhere, you understand your data is processed in the US.

When this policy changes materially, we will give notice by email or in the app before the change takes effect, and update the version and date above. This policy works together with our Terms of Service.
